Board Meeting - Fall 2025

Members meet formally bi-yearly, over a day and a half, on campus in the Fall and in conjunction with the Harvard Real Estate Symposium in the Spring. Board Meetings allow members to engage fellow alumni working in the real estate arena to build community and foster dialogue. Meetings include intimate networking receptions at signature Harvard venues, presentations by Harvard faculty and industry luminaries, roundtables designed for members to engage in a lively discussion of a predefined real estate-facing theme, and opportunities to mentor Harvard students studying real estate.

The New York City Trek is designed to bring students to visit, interact with, and learn about business models and market conditions from public and private sector institutions across the spectrum of industry sectors. ARGUS Enterprise Training

The two-day on-campus private valuation and cash flow forecasting software training is designed for new-to-intermediate users. The course concentrates on practical applications of the software through interactive examples and case studies. The models covered include Valuation- Cash Flow, Portfolio Level Reporting, and Sensitivity, giving end users the skillset to value and manage the performance of real estate assets. Working knowledge of ARGUS obtained through the training gives students a competitive edge in the real estate job market.

Registration includes a digital ARGUS manual, a 30-day ARGUS license, and a discount on ARGUS certification.

Retreat 2026

HAREB will again team with USC’s Lusk Center to host a Real Estate Retreat. The Retreat, which will take place at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California, will provide members meaningful opportunities to engage with peers from the Lusk Center’s Advisory Board. Simultaneously, the event will showcase talks by industry leaders and innovators from the academy and host interactive panels addressing current opportunities and challenges, and future industry trends.
