ABOUT THE BOARD

The Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board, established in 2016, is comprised of University alumni in the field of real estate whose focus is:

-    To create a beneficial network of alumni working in real estate to foster professional and personal growth,
-    To provide an enhanced experience for students at Harvard studying real estate and
-    To promote the study of real estate across the University

HAREB meets formally twice each year, over a day and a half, in Cambridge, in the Fall and in conjunction with the Harvard Real Estate Symposium in the Spring. Board meetings, which are an opportunity to build community and foster dialogue and networking, including presentations by Harvard faculty and industry luminaries with an eye toward real estate and non-real estate thought leadership, networking receptions, and intimate dinners at signature Harvard venues, and member workshares on key industry projects.

Each academic year, the Board sponsors a robust calendar of hands-on training and experiential learning opportunities for the student cohort associated with the University's real estate clubs. This includes Harvard College, the Graduate School of Design, and the business, law, and Kennedy schools. This programming includes mentoring opportunities, networking events, professional training, career treks, and guest speakers and panels—all offered to complement and build on the depth and breadth of the University’s real estate education.

The Board is a member of the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization, a non-profit organization and the official real estate special interest group of the Harvard Alumni Association.
